The Welcome Desk is the first stop for guests, volunteers, and donors entering the building.

Instructions:
Please enter the Chattanooga Community Kitchen main entrance through two doors located under a green ‘Chattanooga Community Kitchen’ awning
Open Hours:
Daily from 7:00AM to 5:00PM
How It Works
All volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
Note: If you are 16 or older, but still under 18, a parent or other responsible adult must be present for the entire timeVolunteers in this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to help both behind a desk and with unloading vehicles.
After signing up, please come prepared with appropriate attire including closed-toed, flat shoes and comfortable pants.
Tasks
Direct guests needing services of the day
Accept incoming donations of clothing, recycling, food and other items
Offer a welcoming and compassionate environment for those we serve
